Cloning a WordPress site sounds trivial until you try it. A duplicator plugin copies the disease along with the design: outdated plugins nobody dares to update, a page builder generating twelve layers of divs, orphaned tables from things removed in 2019, and sometimes a backdoor the previous developer never noticed. You get a copy that is exactly as fragile as the original.
We do it differently depending on what you actually need. If you own the site and want a staging or development copy, we duplicate it properly: files, database, correct URL rewrites, working admin, and we document what is outdated so you can decide what to update. If you want to reproduce a design you admire, we do not copy anything literally: we rebuild the look as an original lightweight theme, so you get the visual result without licence violations or GPL grey zones.

Commercial themes are licensed per site, and simply copying one to a new domain usually violates the licence even though WordPress itself is GPL. Our approach avoids the problem entirely: when the theme cannot be legally reused, we rebuild the design as original code. It is also lighter, typically half the CSS and none of the builder overhead, so the clone consistently scores better in PageSpeed than the site it mirrors.
