How to Copy a Tilda, Wix or Webflow Site to WordPress
Builder-by-builder reality: what Tilda, Wix and Webflow let you export, what always breaks, and the rebuild process that produces a faster WordPress copy.

An exact, working copy of a WordPress site: yours for staging and redesigns, or someone else's design rebuilt legally as your own clean theme. No licence headaches, no inherited malware, no bloat.
Cloning a WordPress site sounds trivial until you try it. A duplicator plugin copies the disease along with the design: outdated plugins nobody dares to update, a page builder generating twelve layers of divs, orphaned tables from things removed in 2019, and sometimes a backdoor the previous developer never noticed. You get a copy that is exactly as fragile as the original.
We do it differently depending on what you actually need. If you own the site and want a staging or development copy, we duplicate it properly: files, database, correct URL rewrites, working admin, and we document what is outdated so you can decide what to update. If you want to reproduce a design you admire, we do not copy anything literally: we rebuild the look as an original lightweight theme, so you get the visual result without licence violations or GPL grey zones.
The third common case is escaping a bad setup: the site works, but it is slow, hacked or held hostage by a maintenance contract. We clone the public result onto a clean WordPress install (fresh core, minimal vetted plugins, original theme) and leave the mess behind.
We inspect the theme, plugins and hosting, then confirm the exact scope, price and deadline in writing.
Depending on the goal: a faithful duplicate for staging, or a from-scratch theme that reproduces the design without the baggage.
Pages, posts, media, forms, analytics and third-party services are moved and tested one by one.

Commercial themes are licensed per site, and simply copying one to a new domain usually violates the licence even though WordPress itself is GPL. Our approach avoids the problem entirely: when the theme cannot be legally reused, we rebuild the design as original code. It is also lighter, typically half the CSS and none of the builder overhead, so the clone consistently scores better in PageSpeed than the site it mirrors.
A safe pattern our clients use: we create an exact staging clone, you experiment on it freely, and when the redesign is approved we swap it into production with 301s and zero downtime. Your live site is never the test bench.
We can rebuild its design and structure as original code for you, which is legal. We do not copy someone else's texts, images or premium theme files. You get the same visual quality with your own content.
Yes. We either keep your builder (if you like it) or convert the layouts to clean Gutenberg blocks or theme templates, which is what we recommend for speed.
Yes. Stores keep products, categories, customers and order history. Multisite projects are quoted after a quick review because complexity varies a lot.
Yes, that is a frequent job: we rebuild from the public pages and a database export, never reusing infected files, and deliver a verified-clean copy.
