Bitrix to WordPress: 1400-Product Print Equipment Store

Commercial printing equipment dealer Bitrix CMS WordPress 30 days

The task

Bitrix to WordPress migration for a commercial printing equipment store with over 1,400 SKUs across multiple price tiers. The client needed a fully managed online store that could rank in organic search, load faster than the original, and be updated by their own team without developer involvement. The donor site ran on Bitrix with obfuscated front-end code, which made a standard migration impossible.

What we did

Tearing Out Obfuscated Code and Starting Clean

Every JavaScript library on the donor site had been obfuscated. Reverse-engineering scrambled, minified scripts wasn’t a viable path, so we took a different one: we extracted the rendered HTML and CSS structure, discarded all original JS files, and rewrote the entire front-end behavior from scratch. The result was clean, documented, maintainable code with no hidden dependencies and no legacy debt carried over from Bitrix.

Parsing and Migrating 1,400+ Products

We built a custom parser tailored to the donor site’s catalog structure. It pulled product titles, technical specs, pricing, images, and category assignments for all 1,400+ items and loaded them into WordPress with consistent formatting. To make the catalog manageable long-term, every product was wired to a custom admin panel built on custom fields, so the client’s team can edit specs, update prices, and publish new items without touching code.

  • Parser built specifically for the donor’s category tree and product data format
  • Full catalog imported with structured custom field mapping
  • ACF-style admin interface for non-technical content editing

SEO Architecture: Filter Pages, Slugs, and Per-Page Copy

We added filterable catalog pages with indexable, SEO-friendly URLs, so each equipment type and spec combination gets its own addressable page. A custom plugin was built to auto-generate first-draft product descriptions using a neural network; editors review and publish, cutting the time needed to cover 1,400+ items. On top of that, we wrote unique SEO articles for every category page and key landing page by hand, no templated boilerplate.

  • Filter pages with canonical URLs, structured for long-tail search
  • AI description plugin: AI drafts, human publishes
  • Hand-written SEO copy for all category and landing pages

Complete Visual Redesign

The client did not want a clone. They wanted a starting point. We rebuilt layouts, typography, navigation, and UI components from the ground up. The final site shares no visual resemblance to the original Bitrix version and passed standard plagiarism and design-similarity checks.

  • 1400+ Products parsed and migrated via custom-built parser
  • 30 days Full delivery: migration, full redesign, SEO setup, and custom plugins
  • Within days First organic impressions and indexing after launch
  • 95% PageSpeed score vs. original Bitrix site

“We came to Webdoner for a clone and got a fully unique online store. Every request was taken into account, and then some.”
