Webflow WordPress

Migrate From Webflow to WordPress

Webflow exports beautiful static HTML, but leaves your CMS collections and interactions behind. We rebuild the whole thing on WordPress, dynamic parts included.

From $390 1-2 weeks

What Webflow lets you take

  • Clean static HTML and CSS (best-in-class among builders)
  • Images and assets
  • Static page structure and styling
  • Fonts and design tokens

What we rebuild by hand

  • CMS collections (blogs, portfolios), excluded from export
  • IX2 interactions and animations (bound to Webflow JS)
  • Webflow forms and their submission handling
  • Membership and e-commerce logic
  • Dynamic content bindings

Webflow exports well, until you hit the CMS

Credit where due: Webflow’s static export is the cleanest in the builder world, semantic HTML and tidy CSS. If your site is purely static pages, the move is pleasant. The trouble starts with everything dynamic. CMS collections (your blog, portfolio, product lists) are excluded from export on most plans, and IX2 interactions export as data attributes bound to Webflow’s JavaScript, which is fragile the moment it leaves their ecosystem.

So a Webflow-to-WordPress migration is part transfer, part rebuild: static pages port smoothly, while collections and animations are reconstructed natively.

Why teams move off Webflow

  • CMS cost and limits. Webflow’s CMS item caps and per-seat pricing get expensive as content grows.
  • Editor friction. Non-technical editors often find WordPress simpler for day-to-day publishing.
  • Ecosystem. WordPress’s plugin universe covers needs Webflow requires custom code (or workarounds) for.
  • Ownership and hosting freedom. Host anywhere, back up on your terms, no platform lock-in.

How the Webflow migration works

  1. Port the static pages from Webflow’s export, cleaned and rebuilt on a WordPress theme.
  2. Export CMS collections as CSV and import them as WordPress posts or custom post types, so your blog and dynamic lists keep working and stay editable.
  3. Reimplement interactions with standard, maintainable CSS and JavaScript rather than Webflow-locked IX2.
  4. Rebuild forms and connect them to your email or CRM.
  5. Protect SEO: preserve URLs, 301-map changes, migrate metadata and schema, then launch after side-by-side review.

Is it worth it?

If your Webflow site is a static brochure, the move is quick and cheap. If it leans heavily on the CMS, the value is escaping item caps and per-seat fees while keeping the design. Either way you land on an editable, fully-owned WordPress site. Compare builders in our Tilda/Wix/Webflow guide, or price your project with the calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Can I just use Webflow's HTML export?

For static pages, partly, the export is genuinely clean. But CMS collections are excluded and IX2 interactions break outside Webflow. We port the static parts and rebuild the dynamic ones natively on WordPress.

What happens to my Webflow CMS blog?

We export your collections as CSV and import them as WordPress posts or custom post types, so your blog and dynamic content remain intact and become easier to edit.

Will my Webflow animations still work?

We reimplement the important ones using standard CSS and JavaScript, so they survive the move and are no longer locked to Webflow's runtime.

Does moving from Webflow hurt SEO?

No, we preserve URLs, add redirects where needed, and migrate metadata and structured data. Rankings hold and you gain full technical SEO control.

How much does a Webflow migration cost?

From $299 for a typical site, more if there are large CMS collections or complex interactions. The calculator gives an instant range and we confirm a fixed price after review.
